Our business
Sweetwater Designs is the new jewelry line from designer, MK Rowins. The name is a nod to the designer’s southern roots- specifically the Alabama home of her maternal ancestors- Sweetwater Mansion. The collection is a unique combination of classic style with modern wearability. Each piece, including one-of-a-kind and customized designs, is handmade in Austin using 14kt gold fill, sterling silver, and semi-precious stones.
Meet the owner: Mk Rowins
Our journey was inspired from grandmother when she used to bake cookies for us. A lot of great memories from baking with our grandmom. She taught us how to bake the loveliest and sweetest cookies. We started selling hand baked cookies in a tiny stall. Later we expanded our business to cakes and custom bakery. We are very happy to delight so many customers in the past decade.

First cookie stall
Our first cookie stall was opened in 2009. We started with a few cookies and our family mainly handled all operations from baking cookies, running the shop, and customer services.
